"Toadstools" formations in Utah. From a Plein Air work, which I usually end up working into a final painting which you see here. 11 x 14 on board

"Glacier National Park" 16 x 20, 2022 I have improved this original Plein Air scene by correctly rendering the distance mountain and taking the value (lightness vs. dark) UP in the foreground rocks. - The prior version is shown next for comparison.

This is a sign from an old classic burger joint in Great Falls, Montana. I like the style, geometry and colors so decided to paint it.

"May Visitors" 24 X 30, 2022 This is the 2nd in my "Desert Bloom" series. See also "Desert Beauties" in the Landscape Tab.

"Pup Leads the Way" 9 X 12 Oil on Board. This is a portrait of my Grandfather, M Lester Kurtz. 1895 - 1974. He was a farmer, family man, auctioneer, WW I veteran.
