I intend to turn this into an oil painting. Portraits are quite a challenge, every detail must be exact or you will lose the character and likeness of your model. I have never backed down from a challenge and know that this is how you grow as an artist.

"Thirsty Cat" 16 x 20 , 2022. I learned a lesson on this one, I almost threw the canvas away, after a crappy effort at doing waterfalls shortly after I started painting. After reworking it 10 years later I think I made it somewhat presentable.
