I have always had an interest in art and enjoyed visiting museums and reading about art history. Around 2011 I decided to start creating art myself, with the original intention of copying some master pieces to display in my house, e.g. Van Gogh, Matisse, Renoir, Cezanne, etc. After learning the basics I was successful in doing this. I wanted to keep going and learning so I began to take lessons at the Scottsdale Artists’ School, which has some of the country’s best artists as teachers. Some names include Jerry Salinas, Daniel Keys, Matt Smith, Sarah Sedwick, Robert Lemler, Nancy Chaboun. If you want to see some truly outstanding art then visit some of their web sites or Instagrams. I do not consider myself a professional artist since I am retired from the workforce. However this is more than a hobby, it’s a passionate pursuit.  “Do I do commissions?” Yes I can consider them. Let me know what you have in mind. I hope you enjoy my art and I welcome your comments. Respectfully, Gary    GLSheriff@gmail.com
