Plein Air
Painting, in Glacier National Park July 2019. You will see the final product in another thumbnail. It's quite a challenge, sometimes fighting the elements, and changing weather conditions. In this case, the mosquitos drove me off. I have found that the first outdoor session's product looks much better when I finish it in the studio at a later date.
Glacier National Park, July 2019. After the initial four hour outdoor session, later in the studio I added lighter lights, darker darks, and more chroma, resulting in a more pleasing final product. I intend to do more Plein Air works in the future.
